Fronds tufted ; lamina 2-3-pinnate-pinnatifid , narrowly ovate or ovate to pentagonal , green above , powdery-white (at least in the young fronds) beneath . Spore sacs (sori) marginal , interrupted ; sporangia dark brown or black , glossy ; soral flaps membranous . (Ref . Miller & Cope ; 1996) .
