Panicle ovate or narrowly ovate in outline , 7-20 cm long , the spikelets second and clustered at the tips of the branchlets , these and the primary branches bare of spikelets below . Spikelets (1 . 5-)1 . 7-2 . 1 mm long . Fruits caryopsis ellipsoid .
