Leaves 10–30(–50) × 8–20(–30) mm , dull green , lanceolate to broadly ovate to oblong-ovate , apex rounded with an acute tip , base rounded to shortly cuneate , margins entire to irregularly crenulate , pubescent (sometimes lanate) ; petiole 10–15 mm . Inflorescences 1–3 in axillary cymes , usually in the upper axils of leaves ; bracts foliaceous . Flowers pale lilac to pink or bluish , funnel-shaped , short-lived ; calyx 4–5 mm , 5-lobed with ovate-lanceolate lobes and often a narrow hyaline margins ; corolla pale lilac to pink or bluish , funnel-shaped , tube 8–12 mm , 5-lobed above , pubescent ; lobes ± 6 mm ; stamens 4 ; anthers parallel ; style persisting in mature capsule . Fruit capsule , 12–18 mm , ellipsoid , glabrous , many-seeded . Seeds 3–4 . 5 × 2 . 5–4 . 5 mm , broadly ellipsoid to circular , dark brown . (Ref . Flora of Oman ; vol . 3) .
