Annual or perennial herb ; up to 30 cm high , with a woody root-stock . Stems few , arising from the base , grooved , pale green , sparsely pubescent becoming denser above with long and short hairs . Leaves alternate , usually simple , or 3-lobed ; leaflets 10-30 mm long and broad , rotund , coarsely and irregularly dentate , pubescent ; petiole up to 5 cm , sheathing at the base , pubescent . Inflorescences in axillary and terminal umbels ; peduncles 15-30 mm , glabrous to sparsely pubescent ; rays 3-5 ; bracts and bracteoles absent , rarely present . Flowers white ; calyx minute ; petals ± 1 mm ; styles 2 , distinct . Fruit ± 2 mm , ovoid , ridges obscure , covered with long hooked hairs . (Ref . Flora of Oman ; vol . 2) .
