Perennial herb or subshrub . Stems and branches leafy , pubescent . Leaves broadly elliptic to spathulate , obtuse , more than 2 cm wide , the lowermost pinnatifid , the others sinuate-dentate , margins flat . Inflorescences solitary at the end of the branches . Flowers with yellow corolla , much exceeding the involucre . Fruit achenes , shiny , straw-coloured . Seeds pappus , of brownish bristles as long as achenes . (Ref . Flora of Oman ; vol . 3) .
