Annual or pauciennial herb ; up to ± 40 cm high , with short , stiff hairs . Stems branched from the base . Leaves lanceolate or linear-lanceolate , pinnately divided with narrow segments , undulate , of the main axis petiolate , of the branches long-decurrent . Inflorscences solitary at the end of the branches . Flowers with bright yellow corolla , much exceeding the involucre . Fruit achenes , 3–4 mm long , brown , shiny . Seeds pappus , ± 3 mm , reddish-brownish , innermost row of bristles much shorter than the outer . (Ref . Flora of Oman ; vol . 3) .
