Pseudognaphalium luteoalbum (L.) Hilliard & B.L.Burtt

This species is native to the Old World; naturalised elsewhere. (Ref. POWO; 2023). There is one species of Pseudognaphalium occurs in Oman. (Ref. Oman Botanic Garden).

Annual or biennial herb ; up to 60 cm high , covered in long white or silvery hairs . Stems erect or decumbent , simple or branched , leafy , without non-flowering shoots , white-tomentose . Leaves spathulate to linear , sessile , decreasing in size upwards . Inflorescences (sub)sessile , crowded in dense terminal glomerules , these single or by several . Flowers whitish to yellowish , apically tinged purple ; outer flowers numerous , pistillate , filiform ; inner flowers few , tubular , perfect . Fruit achenes , ± 0 . 5 mm long , ellipsoidal , minutely papillose . Seeds pappus , of white , caducous bristles in one , ± 2 mm long . (Ref . Flora of Oman ; vol . 3) .
