Annual to short-lived perennial herb ; up to 50 cm high , with glands and long hairs , aromatic . Stems basally branched , usually several , erect , leafy , often reddish , scabrid . Leaves to 90 × 12 mm , spathulate , obtuse to rounded , entire to denticulate , base semiamplexicaul , sticky . Inflorescences at the end of the stems in a loosely corymbiform synflorescence , rarely solitary . Flowers yellow ; ray flowers pistillate , ray lamina 1–2 mm long ; disk flowers perfect , tubular . Fruit achenes , ± 1 mm long , fusiform , somewhat hairy . Seeds pappus , of a corona 0 . 2–0 . 3 mm long and 8–12 bristles 2 . 5–3 mm long . (Ref . Flora of Oman ; vol . 3) .
