Strongly aromatic perennial herb ; up to 50 cm high . Stems erect , branched mostly from base , hairy and glandular , greyish-green . Leaves up to 4 × 1 . 5 cm , linear to lanceolate or spathulate , entire or with few teeth , obtuse , strongly hairy and glandular on both surfaces . Inflorescences solitary at the end of the branches . Flowers yellow ; ray flowers pistillate , ray lamina 2–3 mm long ; disk flowers perfect , tubular . Fruit achenes , 1 . 5–2 mm long , angular , basally attenuate . Seeds pappus of a corona 0 . 1–0 . 3 mm long and ± 15 bristles , ± 4 mm long . (Ref . Flora of Oman ; vol . 3) .
