Mat forming perennial herb . Stems prostrate , delicate , leafy , long-hairy . Leaves up to 5 × 3 mm , obovate , entire , densely pilose . Inflorescences solitary , on up to ± 3 cm long , erect , filiform peduncles . Flowers pale yellow ; marginal flowers pistillate with very indistinct ray lamina ; disc flowers perfect , tubular . Fruit achenes , 1 . 3–1 . 4 mm long , cylindric , straw-coloured , smooth , apically (and sometimes , but less , basally) somewhat hairy . Seeds pappus of a corona ± 0 . 4 mm long and ± 10 bristles ± 3 mm long . (Ref . Flora of Oman ; vol . 3) .
