Inflorescences solitary at the end of the branches , on densely glandulose peduncles . Flowers yellow ; ray flowers pistillate , ray lamina 1–1 . 5 mm long ; disk flowers perfect , tubular . Fruit achenes , 0 . 5–1 mm long , cylindric . Seeds pappus of a corona of 0 . 3–0 . 4 mm long scales connate to 7–10 bristles , 2–3 mm long , both caducous together as a whole . (Ref .
