Stems erect to ascending , much branched , with many short shoots in leaf axils , covered with adpressed disc-based and sessile to stalked glandular hairs . Leaves opposite , 3 . 5–11 . 5 × 1–2 mm , oblanceolate to lanceolate , base cuneate to attenuate , apex acute , covered with scattered disc-based and glandular hairs . Inflorescences in short erect cymes ; pedicels 0 . 7–1 . 7 mm . Flowers yellow or white , funnel-shaped , regular or somewhat zygomorphic ; calyx about half as long or equalling the corolla tube , 5-lobed , lobes ± unequal , ± free , 3–5 mm , adpressed disc-based hairy and densely glandular ; corolla yellow or white , 9–11 mm , funnel-shaped , regular or somewhat zygomorphic ; tube 7 . 5–9 mm , hairy and glandular , limb with rounded lobes ; stamens attached at throat at equal heights ; anthers included .
