Leaves alternate , 10–40 × 5–12 mm , greyish-green , lanceolate to ellipticlanceolate , base cuneate and tapering into the petiole , apex obtuse , margins entire to undulate , villose , mixed with long strigose bulbous-based hairy on both surfaces ; petiole up to 2 mm long . Inflorescences terminal , simple or branched ; flowers in unilateral cymes , lax in fruit ; bracts absent .
