Coincya tournefortii (Gouan) Alcaraz, T.E.Díaz, Rivas Mart. & Sánchez-Gómez

This species is native to Mediterranean, extending to S Pakistan and Arabian Peninsula. (Ref. POWO; 2023). There is one species of Coincya occurs in Oman. (Ref. Oman Botanic Garden).

Erect annual herb ; up to 70(-100) cm tall . Stems erect , glabrous above , hispid below , with simple hairs . Leaves forming a rosette at the base , 5–25(–35)×2–5(–10) cm , lyrate- pinnatisect , with 10–12 pairs of lateral lobes ; lobes irregularly serrate , base tapering into the petiole ; upper leaves entire , petiolate . Inflorescences 4-merous , in terminal racemes . Flowers bright yellow ; sepals ± 2 mm ; petals 5–6 mm , pale yellow ; stamens 6 . Fruit siliqua , 50–60×2–3 mm , 2-jointed , glabrous , erect to ascending ; upper joint cylindrical to torulose with a conical beak ; valves of lowerjoint 1-nerved . Seeds 1-2 . (Ref .
