Draba verna L.

This species is native to Europe, extending to NW Africa and W Himalaya; introduced to eastern and western North America. (Ref. POWO; 2022). There is one species of Draba occurs in Oman. (Ref. Oman Botanic Garden).

Short-lived annual herb ; up to 5 cm high . Stems erect to sub-erect , single to several , branched or stellate hairs . Leaves in a basal rosette , lanceolate to obovate to oblong , acute , entire to dentate , margin hairy Inflorescences racemes 10-20-flowered . Flowers white ; sepals 1–2 mm , not saccate ; petals 2–3 mm , white , deeply bi-fid ; stamens 4–6 . Fruit silicula , 3–5×1 . 5–3 mm , laterally compressed , oblong-elliptic , glabrous . (Ref . Flora of Oman ; vol . 1) .
