Eremobium aegyptiacum (Spreng.) Asch. ex Boiss.

This species is native to E Mediterranean, extending to Arabian Peninsula, S Iran, eastwards to SW Pakistan. (Ref. POWO; 2022). There is one species of Eremobium occurs in Oman. (Ref. Oman Botanic Garden).

Annual herb ; up to 30 cm high . Stems decumbent to ascending , grey-green , stellate hairs . Leaves 4–40×1–3 mm , linear , obtuse , base tapering , margin entire . Inflorescences racemes , lax . Flowers white to pink ; sepals 3–4 mm , saccate ; petals ± 8 mm , white to pink ; stigma lobes decurrent . Fruit siliqua , 10–30×1–2 mm , linear , cylindrical or torulose , narrowing at the apex , ascending to patent , pubescent . (Ref . Flora of Oman ; vol . 1) .
