Soft-pubescent annual herb ; up to 40 cm tall . Stems erect , usually branched at the base , glabrous to hispid , simple hairs . Leaves 15(–30) cm , lyrate to pinnatisect , margins coarsely dentate . Inflorescences of bractless racemes ; pedicles stout , ascending . Flowers white , creamy-white or yellow with dark brown , green or purple veins ; inner sepals saccate ; petals 15–20 mm , yellow with distinct brown veins . Fruit siliqua , 15–30×3–4 mm , flattened , glabrous or hispid dehiscent , valves 1-nerved . Seeds pale or grayish brown , 1 . 6-2 . 5 mm . (Ref . Flora of Oman ; vol . 1) .
