Leaves 10–45×4–20 mm , ovate to oblong-elliptic or broadly obovate , obtuse , base cuneate into a winged petiole , margins entire . Inflorescences in 5-15-flowered racemes , elongating up to 20 cm in fruit ; pedicels in flower 1–2 mm , 3–7mm in fruit . Flowers pale pink to pink-purple ; sepals 4–6 mm , not saccate ; petals pale pink to pink-purple , narrowly to broadly spathulate , clawed , 8 . 5–11 mm ; stamens 6 , 5-6 mm .
