Neslia paniculata subsp. thracica (Velen.) Bornm.

This subspecies is native to Mediterranean, extending to Central Asia and W Himalaya. (Ref. POWO; 2023). There is one species of Neslia occurs in Oman. (Ref. Oman Botanic Garden).

Annual herb ; up to 30(-70) cm tall , pubescent . Stems erect , simple or branched above , thinly tomentose . Leaves simple , alternate , 5-20(-60)×1-4(-20) mm , oblong to narrowly ovate , acute , entire to toothed , base amplexicaul and sagittate . Inflorescences in 30-50-flowered racemes , up to 30 cm long in fruit ; pedicel up to 10 (-14) mm long in fruit , spreading . Flowers c . 4 mm across , yellow ; sepals 4 ; petals 4 , unfused , symmetrical , 2-3 . 5 mm . Fruit silicula , 2-2 . 5 mm diam . , dry , style persistent c . 1 mm . Seeds c . 1 . 5 mm in diam , ovoid , brown . (Ref . Miller & Cope ; 1996) .
