Notoceras bicorne (Aiton) Amo

This species is native to Canary Islands, Mauritania, SE Spain, N Africa, extending eastwards to W Himalaya and Arabian Peninsula. (Ref. POWO; 2023). There is one species of Notoceras occurs in Oman. (Ref. Oman Botanic Garden).

Prostrate or decumbent annual herb ; up to 20 cm high . Stems much-branched from the base , canescent , grey-green , adpressed pubescent , medifixed hairs . Leaves 5–50×2–6 mm , simple , oblanceolate , acute , base attenuating into a short petiole . Inflorescences in short racemes , terminal leaf opposed , elongated in fruit , ebracteate ; pedicel erect , stout , short , thick in fruit . Flowers bisexual , white , yellow ; sepals 4 , linear oblong , equal at the base , inner lateral pair base not saccate ; petals 4 , linear oblong , margins entire , about the length of the sepals , claw absent , ± 2 mm ; stamens 6 , filaments linear ; anthers linear-oblong ; ovary superior , subquadrate , bicarpellary , with 2 apical horns ; ovules 6-8 . Fruit siliqula , 4–8×1–2 mm , cylindric , appressed to the stem , pubescent ; valves ending in 2 horns at the apex . Seeds c . 1 mm long , ovate-ovoid , compressed or flattened , not winged , brown , minutely reticulate . (Ref . Flora of Oman ; vol . 1) .
