Leaves opposite or alternate , simple , dense , tiny , sessile , pale green , ovate to ovate-lanceolate , hirsute . Inflorescences in axillary cyme , 6-9-flowered . Flowers sessile , minute , yellowish-green , bud-like ; sepals 5 , white-hirsute ; petals shorter than the calyx ; staminodes filiform . Fruit utricle , tiny , ovoid to subglobose , 1-seeded .
