Leaves opposite , simple , dull green , tiny , broadly ovate to suborbicular with dense sessile glands . Inflorescences in clusters along the stem . Flowers minute , sessile , with a few hooked hairs near the base ; sepals 5 , equal , ovate-oblong ; stamens 5 ; staminodes 5 , triangular . Fruit capsule , round , 1-seeded . Seeds not seen . (Ref .
