Leaves opposite , linear , fleshy , hairless , with a pointed tip or the tip drawn out into a short bristle . Inflorescences in dichasial cymes . Flowers sepals with white scarious margins ; petals 5 , pink with darker pink tips , shorter than or equalling the sepals . Fruit capsule , ovoid , shorter than the sepals , opening by 3 valves . Seeds 0 . 4-0 . 5 mm , unwinged , pale brown , finely tuberculate . (Ref . Flora of Oman ; vol . 1) .
