Leaves opposite , greyish , ovate-elliptic , acute tip , shortly cunate at base , hairy with entire margins , petiolate . Inflorescences on one side of the stalk , terminal racemes . Flowers bright yellow ; bracts linear-lanceolate ; sepals 5 , unequal , pubescent ; petals 5 , clear-yellow , obovate , reflexed ; stamens many ; filaments free , glabrous ; style simple , bent near the base ; stigma crenate ; ovary pubescent .
