Perennial herb or low shrub , woody at base ; up to 30cm . Stems many , branching from the base , pilose . Leaves closely placed , sessile , ovate-lanceolate , base cordate to cuneate , apex acute , margins entire , appressed pubescent . Flowers small , in bracteates clusters at the tips of branches ; petals white to whitish-pink . Fruit capsule , ovoid , 2-4-valved , 1-seeded . (Ref . Flora of Oman ; vol . 3) .
