Annual herb or perennial low shrub . Stems long , c . erect to prostrate , may have fine hairs ; up to 1 m or more long . Leaves alternate , 10-40 , oblong to linear-oblong to narrowly lanceolate , base cuneate , apex obtuse to acute , with denticulate to serrulate edges , glabrous . Flowers axillary , solitary or several in cymes ; sepals 5 , ovate , acute ; corolla brownish-yellow to dull yellow with a dark red centre , funnel-shaped . Fruit capsule , globose , enclosed in the pilose calyx . Seeds black , flattened . (Ref . Flora of Oman ; vol . 3) .
