Annual herb . Stems numerous , prostrate , climbing or twining , up to 1m or more long , pilose . Leaves alternate , narrowly to broadly ovate , base broadly cordate sometimes subhastate , apex bluntly acute to obtuse , margins entire , pubescent to glabrous , petiolate . Flowers axillary , in 1-3-flowered cymes . Flowers sepals unequal ; corolla pale mauve , white with purple centre , pink with greenish stripes , or pure white , funnel-shaped , pubescent . Fruit capsule , globose , glabrous , tipped with indurated style base . Seeds velvety pubescent . (Ref . Flora of Oman ; vol . 3) .
