Leaves alternate , lanceolate to oblong or linear lanceolate , base cordate , apex acute to acuminate , margins entire pilose-strigose or glabrescent , pubescent ; petiolate . Inflorescence axillary , in sessile or shortly pedunculate , (1) 3-many flowered cymes . Flowers sepals unequal , narrowly ovate with a broad base and along acute tip , pilose ; corolla mauve , white , pink or white with a mauve centre , tubular to funnel-shaped .
