Leaves petiolate , 3 – 12 , ovate , cordate with rather angular , nearly rounded auricles , apex acuminate , both surfaces glabrous . Inflorescence solitary or in shortly pedunculate axillary cymes . Flowers sepals ovate , with whitish margins ; corolla blue to violet with a yellowish throat and white tube , trumpet-shaped . Fruit capsule , ovoid , compressed , glabrous , rostrate .
