Leaves opposite , 4-15 , elliptic to ovate to oblanceolate , base cuneate to truncate , apex obtuse , mucronulate , margins entire , silvery-grey tomentose , shortly petiolate . Inflorescence sessile , 1-2 , axillary , solitary or paired . Flowers sepals 5 , slightly unequal , ovate to elliptic , acute to acuminate , silvery pubescent ; corolla white , midpetaline areas pubescent . Fruit capsule , ovoid , apically pubescent .
