Loosely caespitose suffruticose perennial subshrub ; up to 40 cm high . Stems prostrate , ascending or suberect , numerous , with ascending branches arising from a woody base , branches somewhat zig-zagging , silvery-white hairy with long and short hairs . Leaves opposite , numerous throughout the plant , pale green , elliptic-ovate to obovate to broadly ovate , base cuneate , apex acute , apiculate , margins entire , sivery-grey hairy , appearing velvety , petiolate . Inflorescence axillary and terminal , few-flowered clusters . Flowers sessile or pedicels , solitary or paired , ebracteolate ; sepals 5 , linear-lanceolate to narrowly ovate-lanceolate , acute to acuminate , sericeous ; corolla white , unscented , tubular-infundibular . Fruit capsule , ovoid , distally sparsely sericeous . (Ref . Flora of Oman ; vol . 3) .
