Leaves petiolate ; lamina roughly ovate , cordate , lobulate to deeply 3-lobed , grey-green , hispid on both surfaces . Inflorescences monoecious , solitary . Flowers yellow ; male flowers solitary or in small clusters , sepals linear ; petals yellow , obovate ; female flowers solitary ; ovary ellipsoid , tuberculate . Fruit obtusely ellipsoid to cylindrical , glabrous with pale-green , white-tipped warts , green ripening yellow . Seeds 6–6 . 5 mm long , elliptic in outline . (Ref . Flora of Oman ; vol . 1) .
