Flowers male flowers petals pale to deep yellow , ovate to obovate , free ; female flowers petals 0 . 7-1 . 2 cm long . Fruit ovoid-rosstrate or ellipsoid , covered with short and long tubercles , bright orange-red , dehiscent into 3 valves .
