This tree is native to Indomalaya, New Guinea and Northern Australia and widely cultivated and naturalised in other tropical and subtropical regions. (Ref. https://en.wikipedia.org). There is only one species known of Albizia grows in Oman. (Ref. Oman Botanic Garden).
Deciduous tree ; up to 15 m tall , unarmed , with grey , rough bark . Stems many . Leaves bipinnate , 7 . 5–15 cm long , pinnae (1–)2–4(–5) pairs ; leaflets 3-11 pairs , oblong or elliptic-oblong , rounded at apex , mostly glabrous above and subglabrous or puberulous beneath . Inflorescences in large clusters 5-7 . 5 cm wide of pedunculate globular flower heads . Flowers fragrant , pale-yellow to green-yellow , mimosa-like ; stamens pale green . Fruit pod , flattened , linear , 15-30 cm long , pale straw to light brown at maturity , containing six to twelve seeds . Seeds 8-10 x 6-7 mm , brown , flat , orbicular or elliptic . (Ref .
