Argyrolobium roseum (Cambess.) Jaub. & Spach

This annual herb is native to Arabian Peninsula, Iraq, Iran, Afghanistan, India and Pakistan. (Ref. Flora of Oman; vol.2). There are 2 species of Argyrolobium found in Oman. (Ref. Oman Botanic Garden).

Small , prostrate annual herb ; up to 10-15 cm tall . Stems terete , much branched , herbaceous , whitish-green , with white appressed hairs . Leaves 1-3-foliolate ; leaflets 5-15 x 5-10 mm , obovate , obtuse at the apex , base of the lateral leaflets oblique , glabrous above , pilose below , smooth , shiny , whitish-green . Inflorescences in few-flowered terminal lax racemes . Flowers small , pinkish-red with red streaks ; calyx 4-5 mm , lobes linear , pilose ; corolla about as long as the calyx ; stamens joined into a tube . Fruit pod , 18-25 x 1-1 . 5 mm , narrow , compressed , long , grey-green , pilose , 8-12-seeded . Seeds numerous black . (Ref . Flora of Oman ; vol . 2) .
