Leaves 3-4 , arising from the base , paripinnate , 6-8 cm long with 12-17 pairs of leaflets ; leaflets 5-8 x 2-3 mm , apical leaflets smaller in size , elliptic , white-pilose on both surfaces . Inflorescences with short pedicels , in pedunculate spicate heads . Flowers pink-purple ; calyx 12-15 mm , 5-lobed , lobes linear , about as long as the calyx tube and almost reaching the corolla , densely pilose ; corolla pink-purple , 12-15 mm . Fruit pod . (Ref .
