Annual herb ; up to 20 cm tall , with appressed to ascending white hairs . Stems ascending to decumbent , grey-green , branching from the base , pubescent with simple hairs ; hairs basifixed . Leaves stipulate , imparipinnate with 5-8 pairs of leaflets ; leaflets 5-10 x 3-7 mm , oblong-elliptic to linear-oblong , apex acute , white-pubescent . Inflorescences in (1 or)2-8-flowered sessile or subsessile heads . Flowers lilac to white ; calyx tubular , ± 4 mm , lobed above with small acute lobes ± 1 mm , pubescent with white and black hairs ; corolla pink or pinky-white ± 9 mm . Fruit pods , usually in groups of 3-4 , sessile , arched , spreading stellately or erect , white-pilose , partly bilocular . (Ref . Flora of Oman ; vol . 2) .
