Flowers small , bilaterally symmetrical ; petals white or lilac to violet ; stamens 9 ; ovary 2–3 × 1–1 . 5 mm , ovate . Fruit pod , dry , small , inflated , ovate-oblong , with glandular hairs , 1–2(–4)-seeded .
