Perennial herb ; up to 40 cm tall . Stems prostrate to ascending , much-branched , woody , often with herbaceous annual stems , appressed white-pilose and glandular with sessile or shortly stalked glands . Leaves imparipinnate with 13-15 leaflets ; leaflets 3-5 x 2-2 . 5 mm , opposite , obovate , apex obtuse with a mucro , base tapering , white-hairy . Inflorescences in long axillary racemes , exceeding the subtending leaves . Flowers scarlet red ; calyx 1-1 . 5 mm , linear , densely pubescent ; corolla standard pubescent outside ; stamens c . 3 mm long . Fruit pods , 10-15 mm , straight , not flattened , appressed white-hairy and with glandular hairs , brown when ripe , 2–5-seeded . (Ref . Flora of Oman ; vol . 2) .
