Indigofera semitrijuga Forssk.

This species is native to Sahara and Sahel to Arabian Peninsula. (Ref. POWO; 2022). There are 16 species of Indigofera found in Oman. (Ref. Oman Botanic Garden).

Perennial herb ; up to 20 cm high , with creeping stems , almost forming mats , densely covered with ± spreading silvery hairs . Stems older brownish , younger grey-green , appressed white-hairy . Leaves imparipinnate with 5 leaflets ; stipules linear ; leaflets 2-4 x 2-3 mm , alternate , obovate , apex truncate to emarginated , base tapering , margin entire , pubescent on both surfaces , young leaves yellow-green . Inflorescences ± sessile , in axillary racemes , much longer than the subtending leaf . Flowers scarlet red , ± 2 mm , deflexed after maturation ; calyx ± 2 . 5 mm long , deeply divided ; corolla standard pubescent outside ; stamens 10 , ± 3 mm long , 9 fused , 1 free . Fruit pods , 4-6 , not flattened , straight , reflexing downwards , beaked , whitish brown , 2-seeded . (Ref . Flora of Oman ; vol . 2) .
