Leaves trifoliolate ; petiole up to 15 mm ; stipules linear , pubescent ; leaflets 5-12 x 5-12 mm , rhomboid , truncate to emarginated , base tapering , nerves prominent below , grey-green , densely white-pubescent on both surfaces . Inflorescences in 1-2-flowered axillary racemes , ± sessile . Flowers yellow ; calyx 4-5 mm , 5-lobed to 2/3 the length , lobes unequal , lanceolate , acute , pubescent ; corolla with standard petal pubescent ; stamens 9 , united with the vexillary stamen free .
