Leaves alternate , paripinnate with 4-10 pairs of leaflets ; leaflets 18-40(-55) x 7-15(-18) mm , increasing in size upwards , lanceolate , tip acute , glabrous or with a few hairs . Inflorescences in 1-2-flowered racemes present in the axils of upper leaves . Flowers yellow , bisexual , slightly zygomorphic , 5-merous ; sepals free , unequal , obovate , green ; petals 5-10 mm , free , obovate , glabrous , yellow , venation distinct ; stamens 10 ; filaments markedly unequal in length . Fruit pods , 15-11 x 0 . 5-0 . 7 cm , subterete with thicker yellowish edges and a small beak , straight or curved , setate , many-seeded . Seeds 4–4 . 5 x 3 . 5–4 . 5 mm , many , transversely arranged , grey-brown , ovate-circular , compressed , almost smooth . (Ref . Flora of Oman ; vol . 2) .
