Erodium neuradifolium Delile ex Godr.

This species is native to East Africa to the Canary Islands, S Mediterranean and eastwards to Arabia and Pakistan. (Ref. POWO; 2023). There are 5 species of Erodium found in Oman. (Ref. Oman Botanic Garden).

Erect annual or biennial herb ; up to 40 cm high . Stems prostrate or ascending with deflexed hairs , often glandular . Leaves long-petiolate , 2-6 x 1-4 cm , cordate at the base , ± deeply 3-lobed , sometimes almost entire , the terminal segment 3-5-lobed , ± incised-dentate . Inflorescences 3-8-flowered umbels . Flowers mauve ; sepals 3 . 5-6 mm ; petals not much longer than the sepals , mauve . Fruit mericarps , 3-5(-6) mm , apical pits deep , eglandular or glandular , with one narrow eglandular furrow at the base ; beak 2 . 5-4 . 5 cm .
