Utricularia minor L.

This species is native to North America, Asia, and Europe. (Ref. https://en.wikipedia.org). There are 3 species of Utricularia found in Oman. (Ref. Oman Botanic Garden).

Small ,   perennial aquatic herb ; up to 4 - 15 cm tall . Stolons creeping along soil , slender , weakly to strongly , ± many bladders . Leaves alternate , submersed , numerous , 3 - 10 mm long , often three-parted at base and forking one to three times into flattened and slender segments . Terminal segments are pointed at the tip , non-toothed and as wide as the lower segments . Bladders formed along leaf segments . Inflorescences 1-9-flowered raceme ; peduncle 3-25 cm , wiry , 0 . 4-0 . 8 mm diam ; pedicel recurved in fruit . Flowers small , pale yellow , snapdragon-like , on a naked stem extending 1 to 5 inches above the water ; corolla 6-8 mm , yellow , two-lipped with upper lip less than half as long as the 4 - 8 mm lower lip , lower lip having an inconspicuous projection ; spur less than half as long as the lower lip .
