Leaves alternate , simple , leaf blade orbicular-cordate , both surfaces densely stellate pubescent , base cordate , margin minutely crenate , apex long acuminate . Inflorescences solitary , axillary . Flowers yellow , 4 cm across , with a fruity scent ; calyx 6 . 5-10 mm ; petals 6-8(14) mm , yellow to orange .
