Leaves alternate , 10-20 x 0 . 8-18 mm , often plicate , lance-shaped , apex obtuse , base somewhat cordate to rounded , with slightly serrated margins , hairy , grey-green ; petiole 5–22 mm long ; stipules 3–8 mm long . Inflorescences solitary , in the leaf axils ; pedicels up to 10 mm long . Flowers yellow ; epicalyx (bracts) not enlarging in fruit ; calyx camanulate , lobes ± 1 mm , acute ; petals about as long as the calyx ; staminodes 3–5 mm long ; style 1–2 mm long .
