Inflorescences in lax , 3-5 per node , in superposed umbles ; sessile or shortly pedicellate , up to 4 mm . Flowers perianth , pale-pink or purple , small , 1 . 5-3 mm , widely funnel-shaped ; stamens 2 ; anthers 0 . 3–0 . 5 mm . long , transverse elliptic to rounded ; ovary 0 . 5–0 . 6 mm long , ellipsoid , shortly stipitate , glabrous ; style 3–3 . 5 (5 . 5) mm long .
