Woody-based perennial subshrub or herb ; up to 40 cm high . Stems straggling to ascending , grey-green , crispate-pubescent towards the base . Leaves 10-35 x 15-40 mm , broadly ovate to orbicular , fleshy , margins sinuate . Inflorescences in umbels that are usually arranged in ascending panicles ; peduncles 1 . 5–3 . 3 cm long , usually sticky-glandular ; pedicels up to 12 mm long in fruit . Flowers perianth , 5-6 mm , narrowly funnel-shaped , puberulous , purple ; stamens 2-3 . Fruit anthocarp , 4-5 mm , clavate , with stalked glands at the apex and sessile wart-like glands below the ribs , pubescent . (Ref . Flora of Oman ; vol . 1) .
