Leptorhabdos parviflora (Benth.) Benth.

This species is native to E Caucasus, extending to China (Gansu), Nepal and Oman. (Ref. POWO; 2023). There is only one species of Leptorhabdos occurs in Oman. (Ref. Oman Botanic Garden).

Semi-parasitic , annual herb ; up to 50 cm tall . Stems erect , branched or simple , glabrous and glandular , basally purple-brown . Leaves opposite , grey-green , linear pinnatisect with linear segments , up to 30 mm , pubescent and glandular . Inflorescences in terminal lax clusters ; bracts linear , glandular ; pedicels short , glandular . Flowers pink , tubular ; calyx campanulate , ± 4 mm , 5-lobed to 1/2 the length ; lobes triangular , glandular ; corolla pink , tubular , ± 4 mm , 5-lobed ; lobes ±1 mm , bifid ; stamens , 4 ; filaments glabrous , included . Fruit capsule , small , 3–4 mm , oblong to subglobose , open by 2 valves . Seeds numerous , tiny , brown . (Ref . Flora of Oman ; vol . 3) .
