Leaves alternate , 14-57 x 7-35 mm , ovate to elliptic , thin and somewhat papery , base rounded , apex rounded to slightly apiculate , margin entire , pale green above , grey-green below ; stipules lanceolate , denticulate with a few hairs on the margins ; petiole 5-12 mm , thin . Inflorescences axillary ; pedicel ± 10 mm , filiform , elongating to 14(-16) in fruit . Flowers monoecious ; calyx lobes 1-1 . 5 mm , subrotund to obovate , green with pale margins ; disk with an erose margin . Male flowers several . Female flowers solitary .
